| Taken at the same location as the previous one, except that this was shot before the sun came out. The golden light is missing but I think the subdued tones here work in their own way as well. Also, I could for a longer exposure on this one so the misty effect is more pronounced here. At 1.3 seconds of exposure I could still retain some detail in the water, any longer would have turned it into a uniform white blob. For fast moving water, I find a 1 to 2 second exposure to give an ideal balance between highlight detail and movement. Thoughts are welcome. |
